Dr. Jim Branson
Dr. Jim Branson, a member of the Massachusetts Dental Association and the American Dental Association, graduated at the top of his class from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine from Harvard University in 1986. He founded the Newton Family Dentist practice in 1990 after practicing for years in a similar practice in Boston. Dr. Branson hoped to bring the same quality of care to Newton.
Dr. Branson is a talented general practitioner that handles a majority of the cleanings and early diagnostic procedures. He also performs such preventive and restorative procedures as root canals, placing fillings, and fitting crowns.
Dr. Larry Nance
Dr. Larry Nance, who specializes in dental and periodontal surgery, graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He has been with the practice since Newton Family Dentist opened in 1990. He knew Dr. Branson through the American Dental Association and is more than satisfied that he could become the practice’s oral surgical expert.
Dr. Harry Smith
Dr. Harry Smith, the primary cosmetic dentist for the practice, graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1999. He is the most recent addition to Newton Family Dentist, joining the practice just four years ago. He joined the practice after being recruited by Dr. Branson through connections forged by their mutual association with Harvard.
